We pretty much all love candles, don’t we? They’re pretty, they usually smell amazing, they add ambiance and they’re just well – fun! I’m kind of confident in thinking that another thingt we all love is jewelry! So…how about candles and jewelry together!
I’m excited for the first What’s in My series, where it’s all about providing you with great ideas and fabulous finds! What’s in my gift bag? A fun, fabulous find I think you will like! Diamond Candles!
If you haven’t yet heard about Diamond Candles, or haven’t seen one, I’ve got the whole scoop – including the lowdown on five I just purchased! Diamond Candles are all natural soy wax candles in tall, pretty glass and come in a variety of scents. Of course, we know that soy candles last twice as long and it says on the Diamond Candles website that the scent fills the room.
So, you’re probably thinking, nice, but another candle? Here’s the kicker that makes these candles just a little bit different and a whole lot more fun! Each candle comes with a ring inside! Every ring is worth a minimum of $10.00, but can be worth $100, $1,000 or $5,000 dollars! How’s that for a little extra? Personally, I think it is a way cool and different gift idea, perfect for any age or any celebration!
There are truly a boatload of fragrances to choose from in a variety of categories, including Fall, Floral, Food, Fresh, Fruity, Spice, Summer, Tropical, Winter and Woody. Now, I must tell you right off the bat, these candles are wildly popular! I was unable to get all of the exact fragrances I wanted, but check back every day, as they seem to restock fairly quickly. I also received my order in record time and the candles were perfectly packaged in 100% recyclable, compostable and biodegradable individual boxes – a super impressive, environmental touch! Gotta love that! (I completely forgot to take a photo of the packaging! Next time, promise!)
So what do I think of the scents I purchased? Love, love, love the Carnival Candy, which is a pretty pink color. Equally love the Chocolate Truffle (a deep pink and amazing scent!) and Cinnamon Tea (hot pink.) Pumpkin Chai (deep orange) has a nice scent and would be great in the kitchen. I am on the fence with the Brown Sugar Pudding – perhaps it’s the color, sort of a spicy mustard color, that is putting me off more than the scent. It’s not bad – think I have to light it for a final verdict.
Check out their website here! People upload photos of the rings they find in their candles. My final verdict? A quality candle with a fun twist. The cost for each candle is $24.95. Who knows? Perhaps you will be the lucky person to find a $5,000.00 ring. It could happen!!
I’m going to go figure out if I can melt down these candles, check out the rings and remold them with new wicks before I wrap them up. Think anyone would notice? Probably…darn, it seemed like a good idea! <smiles>
Think you’ll try one? I want the Cupcake fragrance next!!
