Happy Sunday! We had a lot of fun last week with our scrapbooking in a “Word” mini series! Are you inspired to take the plunge and try your own “Word” chipboard album? I hope so! I know once you try one, you’ll discover just how much fun it is to make these special, little books – and everyone will want one! Just make sure to make one for YOU!
I want to make sure you don’t miss any of this mini series! We started the week here, with an introduction to chipboard Word albums and where you can get some! Throughout the mini series, we talked about selecting your paper palette, tracing and cutting your paper, using Mod Podge to adhere the paper to your chipboard letters, my technique of outlining letters with my favorite Stickles, plus some of my must-have scrapbooking supplies! We ended our series with the icing on the proverbial scrapbook cake, and talked all about embellishing!
Okay, the only words now are some more pictures to inspire you!
I really love this Family album, which is a beautiful gift for so many occasions. Isn’t the Travel album fun? If someone you know has just gone or is going on a fantastic trip, (perhaps it’s YOU!) what a great way to showcase and remember those travel adventures. Did you notice the more traditional version of the Home album? It’s amazing how different you can make the same book look with different papers and your own creative touch.
This won’t be the last you’ll see or hear about Word albums! I have some other Word album tricks and books up my sleeve to tempt and inspire you this year. Hmm….let’s see….Mother’s Day, graduation, summer, Christmas. I want to see what you’ll say in a “Word!”
Have you enjoyed this mini series? I would SO love to hear your thoughts! I’d love to see the Word album that you make. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a beautiful Sunday.
