What do you get when you combine a surprise craft box with a new friendship? You get…Package Pals! Hosted by Jamie of C.R.A.F.T. and Julia from Stars and Sunshine, Package Pals connects two people with similar interests, who then send one another a fun “crafty” package. Bloggers and non-bloggers can participate in the fun! When I first saw Jamie’s Package Pals post back in March, I knew I wanted to join the next one – and I’m SO glad that I did!
Julia sent me an email to let me know I was paired with Rebecca, who blogs at Living Better Together. If you haven’t visited Rebecca’s blog, please find a minute to pop over! From food, home, DIY to crafts, holidays and a link party, you’ll find lots of great inspiration. I had a lot of fun emailing back and forth with Rebecca and getting to know her. We discovered that we have a big-time, major love of all things Christmas in common!
I cannot tell you how much fun I had putting Rebecca’s package together! I combined some things that Rebecca wanted to try, like fun washi tape, with a few products I love that I wanted to share, topped off with a little dose of holly jolly! Rebecca is going to share my package to her over on her blog and I’m sharing her great package to me! Both Rebecca and I had a crazy busy month of August; we kept in close touch and even wound up having our packages arrive to one another on the same day!
Ok, I’ll admit it – I was like a kid at Christmas when I came home and saw the box waiting for me! Once I opened the box, yes, I could hear the jingle bells! 🙂 Rebecca sent me some fabulous Martha Stewart products that will be a big help in making all kinds of great holiday projects!
I love this iconic Christmas stencil set! There are 48 different stencils in this pack, so the possibilities are endless!
There’s a Basswood Canvas from Walnut Hollow and I already have some holiday ideas floating around my brain for this!
The white, green and red paints are, of course, perfect for the season and I love that each one is a different finish; pearl, satin and glitter. The paints are multi-surface, so I can use them for lots of different projects. The different sized paint pouncers are fantastic – can’t wait to use them!!
Totally looking forward to making some great holiday projects with my new goodies! Thank you SO much to Jamie, Julia and most of all, to Rebecca, for being such an awesome package pal! I’ll be linking up to the Package Pals’ party and you can read all about it here.
I can’t wait until the next Package Pals!! The whole experience was just so much fun and I truly hope you have a chance to participate in the future. The very best and most valuable thing that will be in the package you send AND get? You won’t see it though will absolutely feel it – sharing and friendship with a newly discovered friend.
Thanks so much for visiting. Make a new friend today!
