Happy New Year’s Eve! Maybe you are getting ready today to host a party, go to a party or just looking forward to a laid-back last day of 2013 – the last is how I plan to spend this final day of the year! It was a fun, tasty look at our favorite food posts yesterday. There was no WAY we could let the year end without a little visit to some of the fun crafts of our creativity scene in 2013! We made some fun stuff!
I think I’ll be transforming more Dollar Store bags into these cute little handbag gift bags in the New Year – can I be honest and admit I loved this too much to give it away? I’m still kind of hoping it magically transforms into an actual handbag! :
This half-craft and half-food shower favor was a lot fun and big hit at my niece’s shower. Can’t wait to make it again – perhaps in pink!
These favor or treat bags for July 4th were easy and are great for any celebration – plus if there are pompoms, it just has to be fun, right?
We are barely into winter but I think most of us who live in cold weather would gladly welcome a summer breeze – or at least a pretty wreath to remind us we’ll feel that warmth again! Now I’ll be singing that song all day….
Wrapping a box in ribbon creates two gifts in one! It’s an easy, fast and really pretty alternative to gift wrap.
The Big Paper Twist Door Flower was a fun BIG statement on the front door – and inspired the Paper Twist Sunflower and the next craft…
This guy got lots of attention, both online and on my front door. I think the bit of attention has gone straight to his head, though – I’ve heard gobbled rumors he’s thinking of getting an agent! Hopefully, I can afford an appearance from him for Thanksgiving 2014! 🙂
I’m looking forward to making (yes, more!) Spring topiaries and still love this one that’s so Seuss-like!
The “Bee” Beautiful jar was a favorite – this is a good reminder that I promised a few to friends!
Christmas crafting is such a joy! It was a close call on the favorite craft from the 2013 Christmas holiday season – your favorite was the happy face of the reinvented Santa!
I was so happy you loved this funny, semi-spooky Halloween project that I worked on with Mr. Smarty Pants, because it is definitely one of our favorites of 2013!
I am more grateful than I can find the right words to express for your friendship and support throughout the year. Thank you seems so woefully inadequate – but please know it’s from the very bottom of my heart! I hope you had half as much fun as I did with ALL of our crafts throughout the year. I’ve got my big ole creative thinking cap on for the New Year!
However you celebrate the New Year this evening, be safe and enjoy! Wishing you and your families health, happiness and all things wonderful for 2014!
