Happy Valentine’s Day! I don’t think there is anything that expresses feelings with more power and strength than music. Music has always seemed to me more than a universal language. When words seem to fail us or emotions are sometimes too great to bear, it is music that swells forth and speaks the words of our hearts. For Valentine’s Day, there’s got to be a big side of music to go with the chocolate, hearts and flowers – personally, I’m pretty happy just with the music!
I asked a few of my dear blogger friends to share their favorite love songs. Perhaps you’ll add a few of these songs to your dinner playlist for Valentine’s weekend. If you need a little cooking or baking inspiration, you’ll definitely find some from these talented ladies, too!

Amazed by Lonestar, 1999
Vision of Love by Mariah Carey, 1990

A great song about love that just makes you want to get up, dance and celebrate – September, by Earth, Wind & Fire, 1978. I have amazing memories of our entire family dancing to this song and having the best time ever at my son’s destination wedding!
What song inspires happy, love filled memories for you?
Wishing all of you a very happy Valentine’s Day and thank you for your sweet friendship! Crank up the music!
