Want to make a little something to bring a touch of St Paddy’s Day to your home or office? With a small canvas and scrapbooking stickers, you can whip up this Five Minute St. Patrick’s Day Sign!
Truth be told, I had actually planned to share this quick project on Friday. I WAS all excited to share an Easter project and jump start spring. Between cold, gloom, ice, rain, yet another snowstorm on the way plus battling one miserable cold, I just decided the pretty Easter project needed to wait until next week. It just didn’t seem fair to let winter dump on our Easter joy.
Maybe you need just a little decoration for St. Paddy’s Day. I wanted something cheerful for my desk at work. This cutie could not be any easier!
All you need is a 9” x 3” canvas and some scrapbooking stickers. I used a dimensional St Patrick’s Day sticker package by Jolee’s Boutique – both came from Michael’s. You can add a quick coat of white acrylic paint to the canvas, like I did, but it’s not at all necessary. Ok, so if you add paint, with drying time it’s a bit longer than five minutes but not in actual effort! 🙂
Whether you paint the canvas or use it unpainted, all you have to do is peel and stick. I did add a bit of craft glue to the backs of the stickers, because I always want to be absolutely, positively sure that they’re really stuck. What can I say; I have some weird craft neuroses!
I like this little sign in all its easy simplicity and it’s a nice finale to our St. Patrick’s Day crafting for the season. In case you missed them, check out the Cupcake Liner St. Patrick’s Day Trees and the Lucky Green Painted Jars.
I have to re-share this treat from last year, because I love my cute Bailey’s mugs and their time to shine! I’m totally making these Glazed Irish Breakfast Tea Madeleines again this year for St. Patrick’s Day because they were so delicious!
I’ve got some really beautiful and fun things on tap for Easter and spring. I’ve got my fingers crossed that this week is Old Man Winter’s last stand for the season and this weekend, we’ll be turning the spring corner. Who else is excited for some more daylight? I wish we didn’t have to give up that precious extra hour of sleep but really, bring on the sunshine!
Whatever is or may be falling from the sky where you live, stay safe, be warm and think spring!
