The Return of Flashback Friday!

September 20, 2013 By Cindy

Flashback Friday at Little Miss CelebrationHappy Friday! I almost can’t wrap my head around the fact that in just a couple of months, it will be one year since I launched Little Miss Celebration. Influence and inspiration from the past is such a big part of our lives. As we are hurtling like a runaway freight train toward the season of all things holiday, I’m ready for the return of Flashback Friday!

Whoa there, little miss, don’t get ahead of yourself! This is probably the first time most of you have even heard of Flashback Friday! I shared my very first Flashback Friday post back in December – what inspired it, to whom it was dedicated and why I just kind of adore the whole idea! You can read all about it here. I’ve dropped the plural; I was SO inconsistent with that pesky “s”!

I have an invitation for you! Do you have something special you’ve made for a holiday that you just look forward to rediscovering every year? A fun family tradition with a great story? Your grandmother’s amazing recipe that you have refreshed – or would not change for the world? Would you like to share it? I would love to shine the Flashback Friday spotlight on you! Don’t have a blog? You don’t need one! If you’d like to be a Flashback Friday guest, send me an email at cindy(at)littlemisscelebration(dot)com and let’s talk!

I’ll officially kick off the new season of Flashback Friday next week, but just to give you a little flavor, here are a few things I’ve shared earlier in the year.

Now you all KNOW I much I still love my creative paper twist! I introduced it and professed my love at an early Flashback Friday with some paper rose creations!

I shared my family story Of Football and Life Lessons – I was teary-eyed when I wrote this and I’m teary-eyed linking to it now….but they are tears of happy memories.

I shared some fun blast from the past craft supplies – including this awesome box of burlap ribbon (some of which made it’s way to the Burlap Ribbon Evergreen Topiary!)

So that’s a little taste of Flashback Friday! My second favorite holiday is next month! There will be a whole lot of Halloween going on around here and Flashback Friday will be no exception.

Fridays are going to be really busy and definitely fun! Please join us tonight at 8:00 p.m. EDT when our great Best of the Weekend party goes live – I just love seeing all of you there! I’ll be visiting my friend Therese tomorrow at Fresh Idea Studio , plus you can virtually come along with me to the Pretty Party at Nordstrom Towson. Whew, there’s a lot going on but I’m ready! Oh, I can’t forget! Thank you SO much to Kelly for so generously putting me in the Meet and Greet spotlight at The Intentional Blogger today!

Thanks for visiting and have a fantastic, last actual Friday of Summer 2013! See you tonight and over the weekend!

Cindy, I think it is so sweet that Flashback Fridays were inspired by Emme. I’m sure she would love it. Have a nice weekend!

Cindy, I love this so much. Of course. ? That it is named in honor of your mother-in-law is just the icing on the cake. ?

I didn’t know you when you started Flashback Friday (I was just getting started myself!), but I am so happy that I know you now. I have had fun this morning, browsing some of your flashback Flashback Fridays (lol).

    Love, Joy
